Both sides of the multiplication are odd, so the product is odd. 2112 is even. So 2112 cannot be the square of 21. When you are verifying, you will work very hard to find a mistake, any kind of mistake, and you will only say that something is correct if you just can't find a mistake no matter what you do. If you do find a mistake, you will not make the same mistake again, instead you will change your apporach to avoid that mistake.
